Many people suffer from allergies in one form or another. The allergy can be a food allergy or an allergy you inhale. Some allergies are seasonal and some are all the time. You can get allergy shots or take medication every day, but there are herbal remedies for allergies that can help you beat the symptoms without painful shots or medicines that may have unpleasant side effects.
Allergies are the immune systems abnormal response to a certain substance like an animal or food. The body basically deals with a normal substance the same way it would a harmful germ by producing a lot of histamine which is what responds to immune system attacks.
There are several different ways that herbal remedies for allergies can help you. You can use remedies that boost your immune system so that allergens aren’t attacked by your immune system. Or you can use remedies that reduce the symptoms of your allergy attack after it happens.
Honey is one of the most common herbal or homeopathic remedies for allergies. You want local honey so it helps you deal with any of the allergens that are in the air where you live.
Ayurveda medicine, recommends bitter orange for asthma and other respiratory allergies. The Ayurveda medicinal philosophy, the traditional medicine in India, recommends that you combat allergies before they happen through detoxification and cleansing. Other common herbal remedies for allergies include echinacea which may act like an antibiotic and boost the immune system and herbal drinks with ginsing powder in them which should reduce the chances of having an allergy attack.
